It’s been a long time since The Exponents gifted us a new single, but 2011 marks the 30th anniversary of this beloved Kiwi band. There’s also a certain sporting event underway and to celebrate both, the Exponents have got back together to record ‘It’s Rugby’, another classic in the making.
Jordan Luck, the irrepressible frontman of The Exponents, had this to say about the new single, “we’re optimistic that it’s going to be a hit; it’s a brand new song. But I think people are going to love it. It has a little agenda of course”, he says with a fierce chuckle. “But it’s The Exponents. We’re back!”
‘It’s Rugby’ will appear on a soon-to-be-announced Exponents greatest hits collection that will be a must have for all New Zealanders – because what summer party is complete without our long-loved favourite tunes from The Exponents? Stay tuned for more!
